Well, Glamis is wonderful (summers get really hot but it doesnt stop me), Gordons Well is only about 20-30 mins SE of Glamis and has some nice area to ride on too, as well as being less crowded. There is also Dumont out by the Nevada/California border and its pretty good as well. I've never been anywhere else though. Oh, about an hour and half further south you can find some nice dunes right on the water in Mexico, there small but its nice to ride next to the water sometimes, kind of pretty. I feel bad going down there sometimes though, lots of poverty.

Just to be clear, Glamis, Gordons Well and Buttercup are in California. Very close to the AZ border, but in CA. Bottom line is that it is the best kind of riding you will ever do.

I dont know why your moving but you may want to consider Hemet California as well if its to find more places to ride. They have a nice track and some nice hills and its only about 2.5 hours from Glamis as well. Has a climate similar to AZ but not quite as hot, you may see some rain too Been months since it last rained here, we average 3"'s per year and that usually happens with 2 storms, lol.
