Curtis Sparks, W/B, FMF...Oh the choices!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am looking into getting a pipe. I have decided not to go used. I want new and I want some of the best for about $400-500. I realize that spending this gives me a decent variety to choose from. But, i hear a lot about Curtis Sparks, and my bro swears by White Bros. and many in this forum have FMF. For a 2001 300EX, what would be the best choice? I want to see an increase in the mid-range. What does everyone think?
