Yeah, its one of those mods that you should do when they go bad, no sense in taking it all apart just to install the zerk if the bearings are still good (good chance in breaking them), just wait until the bearings go bad, then when you replace them slap it on there. Also you can install them almost any place that could use greese as long as its not a pressure point.
