Thats true.. KKiller, do you like your 250x? If so then just keep it, so what if its not the newest biggest shiniest thing to hit the magazines, its still a great quad, if you like it thats what matters. Look at me, I'm riding a blaster and I LOVE it, I'd like some more top-end, but for now this will do just fine, and its actually pretty damn fun. I say keep it until you can fully ride as hard as the machine can stand w/o blowing up, then upgrade.

Well i do like it but im so sick of bottoming out off every jump , being passed by friends and polaris , and total lack of power . Also i DONT wont to invest in new shocks and bigbore kits to mae it faster + better jumper because with all the money i will invest i could have a had a nice banshee or 250R .

ALSO kkkiller300ex wants me to get a banshee , i guess so he can ride it or something .

AND i dont want / cant afford any thing in the magazines . just a low cost SPEED + POWER + HANDLING improvement ie 250R or BANSHEEE!

i would get the 250R stick to honda! but the banshees are a lot easier to come buy and might be able to get a better deal on one. the banshee is the only yamaha i actually like all the other ones stink in my book.

if you want a banshee then buy one. Nothing wrong with them. Good bikes, if you are a good rider. Lowend if you know how to use a clutch

a 250X and 300EX are almost indetical, except the 300EX has 282cc's where the 250X only has 248cc's or something like that. they handel the same, and almost all other parts are interchangable.

they will run dead even in a drag becuase the 250X runs a higher compression ratio than the 300EX, after that, it all depends on rider ablilty.

oh yeah...back to the post...get a 250R...stick with honda, they've been good to you right?

AND also i had good luck with yamaha too i had a little ZINGER and sunk it over the bars in water , filled the motor rigth up alls we did was take out the plug and stand it on end or 1/2 hour and then just kept running it after that . the i got a 86'trx350 4x4 HONDA and it went everywhere i could handle and plowed awesome , hauled 18" diameter logs 8' long . then i goT A recon and i beat the hell out if it and neve adjusted the valves ! rode it for 2 years ! now i have my X which ive had no irregular problems with only a carrier problem . I like HONDA but i really like the banshee but im affraid that A)i will get hurt on it because i will try to hone on it and i wont be able to handle the power due to my weight B) its gonna constantly be broken. c) everyone will wont to ride it

I like the 250Rs just as much as the banshees but i cant find i good priced 250R that isnt a total POS . which ever one i find i will get . MY friend was telling me he rode a banshee and he tached it out in 1st 2nd and 3rd and it wasnt really that much power and it had a pipe too .
