i have a 00 recon and the other day i went riding and we rode a lot on the road and when we got back my recon was rattling it sounded like it was in the bottom of the engine has anyone else had this happen or anyone know what it is thank you very much

 

Look at the end of your foot pegs...there is a little metal bar right there...that could be it...

 

Sounds like the flywheel is loose or the cam chain needs tightnening.

 

Are you sure it isn't valve rattle? Have you had the valves adjusted lately or ever?

 

Look at the 3 little screw on the muffler protector beside the head of the motor, this could be your probleme.
