250R shocks and A arms on my 300EX?

I'm needin new a arms on my 300 and ifigured while i'm at it i outta just get 250r stuff...would this work? would i have to use 250R tierods? I'm gonna use 250R shocks too unless i can use my 300 shocks? i need to replace the tierods anyways so i don't mind buyin new ones. thanks

you have to use the whole 250r/400ex setup...shocks, a-arms, and tire rods. you have to get the kit form ATV Racing so that the upper shock mounts will work.

is there anyway i could just cut off the mounts and replace them instead of spending $189?

you have to by the kit, unless you make one yourself..its like a 20 dollar hunk of steel

You can use 400EX a-arms which are $168 for all four from Service Honda. They bolt right up and you can use your 300EX shocks but it will lower your quad 2" in the front. I did it to mine and it handles WAY better than 400EX's now. There are no Ill side effects to lowering the front end except for ground clearance which hasn't been a problem for me. You still have full suspension travel with this setup. I would recommend rear wheel spacers or a longer axle while you're at it. Widening the rear end on my 300EX made the most difference in handling by far. You will need the 400EX tie rods too. They are about $22 each at service honda. Try finding the stuff used on e-bay or something. Good luck! John
