Ok, im gonna be buying a quad here real soon.. sport quad, i have a couple Utility Quads (Arctic Cat 500, Suzuki 300, Honda 400. I have my choices narrowed down to these 2 quads.. The 400EX and the Warrior.

Which one has a higher top speed? Does the 6 speed trannie give the warrior any extra top end speed?
Which is better off the Line?
Which is better for Jumping?
Which is better for Tight Trails?
Which has more raw Horse Power?
Which has more tourque in the higher gears.. (3,4,5...6?)

The 400 ex wins hands down all!
I would know I just traded my warrior in this year for the honda.
I dont miss the reverse either.
The shifting is so much easier on the honda too!
And the best part of the honda is the wheelie junkie it is, I put a aftermarket exaust on and rejetted and cant keep the front end down!
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i dont have eather quads but from what i have read lol the 400ex is better i know one good thing about the 400ex is that its a HONDA lol it has to be good ???

 

The 400EX beats the Warrior in every performance category, no doubt about that. The only reason I could think to get the Warrior is if you liked a larger quad or if you must have reverse.

Ride them both and the differences will be apparent.

Like KKK always says (over and over and over again even though everybody is sick of hearing his childish comments on this and every other ATV forum), every quad ever produced since the beginning of time that is NOT a Honda is a complete piece of junk and every Honda produced since the beginning of time is perfect in every way and has never had a single problem. That there is reason enough to buy a Honda despite the fact that a different may suit you better.

 

the 400ex spanks the warrior in every catagory. its better for jumps because it has 250r geometry and new shocks(the warrior uses 12 year old shocks). it is better off the line because it simply has more power and two mor valves than a warrior it is better on tight trails because it handles better. raw power is the honda again it puts almost twice as much.
and torque well the honda has more torque in 5th than a warrior has in all of its gears buy the honda you wont regret it
