in2atvn, Well the proof is in the pudding. That is a clean machine. What color is that? Did they stop making the lakota? Is a lakota sport a lakota without the racks? I would rather have the racks it would be much more usable. Chet

 

i know a guy with a lakota (the old kind with the racks) and a guy with a lakota sport. the old lakotas look MUCH better and i'd rather have one like that too. but i'd rather have a 250EX than either one of those.

 

Actually the Lakota was a 2000 not a 99. It was the last year the Lakota had racks. All Lakotas before 2001 had racks. There is no performance difference in the newer ones. I had a few minor problems with mine but I ride pretty agressive. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
