Ever since the day I got my yellow 400ex, the right side of the plastic has been deformed. The point where it met the side panels stuck out 1 1/2 inches, and the part right above the black half-floorboards stuck back in about 2 inches to far. I always figured this was just a defect in the early yellow ones, since my dealer (Abernathy's Cycle; the worlds largest honda dealer) told me mine was the 9th yellow one made, and that my friends newer yellow one doesn't have the same deformation. So, I think I'm going to go for a new back fender assembly, and I think I want something different to make my 400 stand out from the hundred or so others that are around here. I'm thinking that a black back fender would look awesome on the yellow 400. What do you think. It's only, like 80 bucks, so I'm really thinking about it.

 

where r u goin to get a plastic for 80 bucks? i need new fronts for my 300ex

 

A rear Maier fender retails for about 75 bucks...what parts do you need? Do you want maier or Honda OEM? I can get tell you the cheapest place to buy from.

 

Maier fronts ( black) but if stock that works also. i just need them bad

 

i know you can get the stock 300ex front in black..mine is black )

not sure on cost.. you race cut it to look really good too

 

OEM's are 112-133 depending on year.
