i test rode a new rubicon today and i liked it pretty good except for the way the trans slips when you are going about 30 and then floor it.it revs up for a second or two before it starts pulling any faster.was there something wrong with it or is it the way it is?

I have never noticed that on mine and have been extremely happy with the performance of the tranny. Did you mention it to the dealer after the test drive?

Mine Rubi's tranny doesn't slip any day, or any night.

I ride with plenty of Rubicons and I have never heard any complaining of slipping trannys. I think you should tell you dealer about this one.

Never heard of that before. Not normal. Mine has always been smooth all the way from stop to "OH my god this is to fast!"

I've noticed an occasional "hesitation", but not to the extreme that you seem to be experiencing. In any event, it hasn't been enough to affect the performance of my Rubi. I'm still very happy with it.

If it is feeling like it is slipping make sure the computer has been set up, there is a quick procedure to this and sometimes this really helps,it really helps for the ESP mode.It has to be done if the battery goes dead or is unhooked or even if the idle is changed!!!

You sure you road a rubicon..... I've never noticed any slipping. Its not belt driven there is nothing to slip expect the tires sliping in the grass or someting............
