I rode a Rubicon with 27 mud bug tires and I must say that I wasn't very impressed with power/ torque it had. I have a forman 400 stock and it is way more torquer. On the rubicon if you are in a gear and let off than punch it again it does throw up back like mine fourman. I want to drive a stock one to see the power difference with mine. It must be those tires that made it sluggesh. Even though this thing will romp all over mine in the mud and with the extra clearance. I tried it in all modes and like the manual the best in low.

I have been told that it is not a good idea to change tire diameter on the Rubicon because it confuses the computer.I was told this at a Honda update school!

That's pretty sad if Honda is basically telling you that you can't change to aftermarket tires. Are you sure about that?

I was thinking the same thing about it changing the shifting characterises with the biger tires on it. I like the manual shifting mode a lot better. I also notice it is a lot quieter than my foreman. But it also has a lot bigger of a muffle on it too.
