I think that all Polaris's suck. Especially the Scambler. How can a 500+ pound quad be considered a sport quad? Not only that, buy a friend of mine had a 2000 Scrambler 400 2-stroke. I raced him with my stock 1995 Honda 300ex and killed him on a straight, flat, paved, road. I got him off the line and just took off and ran away. It was hilarious. After I beat him bad on my 300ex I thought it would also be fun to beat unmercifully with my modified y2k 400ex. And I did too. I am sorry, but Polaris's just cannot compete with REAL SPORT QUADS. I have proof and people that witnessed both insane whoopings against my friends Scambler. By the way my friend also had a lot of problems with his Scrambler. 3 weeks after he bought the machine brand new, he was riding through a field and the entire backend (swing-arm and all) just fell apart. The warrenty covered it all though. He ended up having to get a whole new frame. Soon after that, his rear shock busted riding on a trail down in Wayne National Forest in Southern Ohio. After that, he was so sick of it he sold his machine. I think that he learned his lesson.
