holeshot xct kick *** in the mud! given they arent gonna be as good as spider tracs. but if u ride on other terrain besides mud holeshots xct are the way to go. they rule on all terrian. just yesterday i went up a steep *** incline that had downed trees on it. got up with no problem. also i was in a river up to the middle of my engine block.

I went from titan 489's to the xct's on my 400 scrambler. Man thats 1 tough tire, no flats since i put em on ( 8 months). I find I can still go through some pretty deep mud holes but they dont "claw" they're way out of deep ruts like the old tires did. However, the flat protection of 6 ply is hard to beat. I think in your case if your gonna hit some heavy slop.... keep up the momentum and u should be able to power through "most" mud pits with the xct's. But if thats the type of riding u do most, they sure would not be my 1st choice. Best of luck to you whatever choice you make.....bob

Holshots are ok in mud because there "versital" , but alot of times racers use bandits on MUDDY race tracks. Ive seen people use them alot in muddy GNCC races.
