I was on dirtwheelsmag.com and I a picture of a guy on a Raptor 660 pulling a nose wheely. My friend was wondering how it could be done. DO you have to have good front brakes or is there another technique that can be used.

I dont think there is nothing speical you need. I do it all you got to do is go down a hill put your weight foward lock the front brake and thats it.

You do need good front brakes you get some momentum throw your weight forward dont lock the front bracks or you will go over just pull them in and after alot of practice you will be able to do a nose wheelie(AKA endo)
Be care full and wear all the ridding gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good luck!!!!!!

nose wheelies are pretty easy but kinda scary at first. it depends on what kind of bike your on too. on blasters i can just slam the front brake and lift her up. on my LT i had to put my knees against the front fenders. and on my friends 400EX i had to slide myself up until my knees hit the fender to lift up the back end. there are some crappy pics of us doin endos in my yahoo photo album if you wanna check em out.

Myself and kkkiller300ex did it on the tar 1 time and It stood em up strait ! I thought we were gonna go over the bars and have the thing land on me ! I can do em pretty good now , all you do is hit the brakes on my X and it will come right up. And yes you have to have good brakes.

I would imagine, on a three wheeler, the rear of the bike would tend to go one way or the other, causing a fatal blow to your pride, not to mention, broken arms and legs. I would try them on a buddies quad, first.

When I was in highschool, there was a kid that could do an endo with at 200X. He had really low pressure in the front tire. I remember the tire just squashing almost to the rim, and the back end coming up. I thought it was pretty funny.

lean forward (not hanging over the bars or u will fall) and slowly apply more pressure to the brakes each time, slowly you will find the "sweet spot". try on some good solid dirt or dry grass, cement may be a little hard on th tires if u lock them up and when u fall etc
