I own a 250ex and i want to buy a 400ex.What are the pros ang cons of the machine?Is it easy to maintain?Is it good on the trails? Can it wheele? Will it beat a warrior? Does it jump well? I look forward to your input. Thanks

As for the pros: It can do all of the things that you listed quite well. The machine is fairly inexpensive ($5,300-5,500) and can be easily modded as the money comes available.

The cons: I wish it had reverse for trail riding.

The only thing I can think of is there is no reverse on the 400EX and thats what swayed me to the Raptor. Warriors will hunt down the 400ex but not to worry you will swat them down with your mighty exhuast. If you like your 250EX and can maintain it, you should have no problems with 400EX. Chet

Hey man you need to get out more, The 400ex was the first quad in 12 yrs to be compared to the 250R man. It will wheeele,stomp the trails down, and shreddddd your local track man....... sell your girly 250 and join the men in the sand box....
