theres a ****, and when i turn it it revs higher/low depending on which way i turn it. i was supposed to turn it but i did, nothings wrong with it, its running fine, but have i done any damage to my bike?

chances are it is the idle adjustment. and if that is indeed what it was, no you didn't hurt the bike
