I got my grips in today and i cant get them on my handlebars. I ordered the gripglue for them and i noticed that that stuff dries quick. i could only get about a 1 and a 1/2 on there. Are there any tricks out there for putting grips on. Thanks in advance

After you put the glue on your bars borrow the old lady's hairspray and spray the inside of the grip, It slides right on dries quick with no mess

the easiest way to take grips off and put on is with an air compressor. take a nossel and blow air in the grip and push on the handlebars. thats how i switched grips back in my bmx days and it works so slick, thats how alot of pro mx racers do theirs too! ive seen them do it, somewhat where i got the idea for my bmx bike. try it, you'll like it

That doesn't work on some Hondas , because the factory bars have holes drilled in them.

I have had luck spraying the bar with contact cleaner before installing, and they slide right on. I would wait a while for it to dry before riding...also good to safety wire them to be sure they dont come off.
