Riding Boots?
#4
Without a doubt, the Gaerne All-Terrain boot has to be the most comfortable boot for riding. If you are into full MX style riding then you might want a more protective boot like one from AlpineStar; however, it won't be as comfortable.
The Gaerne offers ample ankle protection for almost all situations and is fully waterproof. The cool thing is the tread design. It works when you have to get off and push or pull your quad or walk down a hill. An MX boot is designed not to hang up on the ground when you put your foot down when riding moto-x. Most MX boots have little tread on the bottom.
The only place you can get this particular model is from Ryan Young Products. It is actually called the Balanced Oil boot.
Check it out, you won't be sorry.

i just got a pair of alpinstars m4's with the atv sole, Ive got a couple rides on them and they are very comfortable and dont have a slick sole, so if you stop and get off you wont bust your a$$, I wear a 13 too and think these are very comfortable, almost no break in at all, nice boots for $170

I have the Alpinestars Tech 5s. I never saw the need to get the booty on the Tech 7 or 8s. IMHO the Alpinestars are the #1 boot out there. Waterproof and cutting edge technology. Sure you'll pay a little more for them, but aren't your feet really worth it?
