I have a Clymer service manual and it says the valve clearance for both valves on a 1980 110 is .07mm or .005in. on a cold engine. The point gap is 0.3-0.4mm or 0.012-0.016 in. at the maximum opening. To adjust the valves you need to remove the recoil starter and rotate the crankshaft counterclock wise until the piston is at top dead center on the compression stroke. The "T" mark on the alternator rotor should be aligned with the fixed pointer on either the crankcase or alternator assembly. If both valves are not loose rotate the crank 360 degrees until both valves are loose. Hope this works...It's from the book...GOOD LUCK.
