fix-a-flat VS. Slime

Also...with fix a flat..some of it will eventually harden...Leaving little ***** of glue to rattle around inside your tire. Not really a big deal..just annoying.
The only other cons I can see to any of the other flat repair products is the weight it adds to the tire and the cursing your going to get from your mechanic when he gets the stuff all over his tire removal machine and shop floor

On my old 4x4, I took the wheels in to a large chain tire store to get my new tires mounted. They had major trouble getting the tires off the rim. I was right there watching them put the wheel on the hydraulic tire changer, and the machine was struggling big time. I knew the tires were somehow bonded to the rims because I road quite a distance on flat tires and the tires didn't come off the rims at all. Don't use fix-a-flat. Apparantely the previous owner did.

Last year was the first time my stock tires were removed from my old 86' 200SX and we even lifted up a jeep with a forklift and placed a 2x4 between the bumper and the bead of the tire, uppon dropping the jeep the tire just streched and never came off the beed lock! we had to cut them off with wire snips!
