I have the same question concerning lights. I have located an aftermarket set of lights at www.sportsmansguide.com. Thet are 55W each and I'm wondering if the alternator will have a problem with that much drain? The Honda manual does not state the alternator output.

I'm still confused as to why there is an alternator vs. a generator since there is nothing other than the spark plug that is electrical on the ATV? Perhaps someone with more electrical savvy can comment?

Thanks,
Scott

the stator needs to be rewound for the added load of the lights. ricky stator sells them here, they are not cheap.
