300ex vs. warrior 350
#1
ok guys, my buddies and i are looking for atv's. We're arguing between the warrior 350 and the ex300. They are comparable in price. How do they compare in the following: Top speed, low end power, top end power, handling. We realize the warrior is a bit bigger and 20lbs heavier. Thanks for your help guys! Top speed - Warrior but a smaller sprocket on the rear of the EX makes it just as fast
Low end power - I'd have to say the EX has more it will wheelie in every gear if you're good
Top end - The warrior has more since it's faster
Handling - The EX is by far the best handler of the two. A stock EX will outrun anything else in the woods, they cant be touched.

I had a Warrior for years, and we currently have a 300. Avoid the Warrior!! Yamaha needs to retire this thing!! It handles like a big heavy machine. It's the size/weight of a Raptor, but with less power. Its worst feature is the suspension, which isn't nearly as good as the 300 (and the 300 suspension is only good, not great). In the whoops, you will really pay the price! The Warrior engine is powerful and bombproof though. The bike is balanced, and jumps better than it has a right to.
The 300 is light and agile by comparison, and its smaller size makes it a great trail bike. The stock power is kind of mellow though, so it motor needs to be moded up.
