I cant belive I didnt think about that! I had the exact same problem about a month ago, somehow I got a small twig into my intake and lodged my bottom reeds open, a very small amount, but it was enough to flood it out and lot let it start. Also, before I realized that, I thought it was the flywheel, so check the reeds first, then check your flywheel! Both are easy and cheap to fix!

Sorry, but the way you wrote I thought you had flooded it and were trying to start it with a possibly fouled plug.
How hard is it to kick? Really, really, easy? Can you do it with your hand? If so, you are lacking compression. If you have a compression tester. . .
Pull plug, insert tester, hold throttle wide open, kick until the compression doesn't rise anymore. Less than 150 lbs you may be looking at problems.
If no tester, drain the coolant and pull the head. If you melted down your piston, you will be able to see it.
Don't despair!!
I went through 3 topends and one split case before I got mine figured out!

Did it foul all those plugs? If so, I would probably suspect that you got some sort of problem unless you are way to rich on your premix or jetting. It shouldnt foul plugs that easy, or that often.

Glad to hear that you got her goin killer. I went from a 300EX to my R as well. THERE IS A TON OF WRENCHING REQUIRED ON THESE QUADS. I would get used to it. Once you get on your regular maintanance schedule less will be required. You cant let this quad get out of maintanence like a four stroke. I have learned that. If you ever need any help, drop me a line, ill be glad to do what i can.
