how long is my chain dealer dont know help!!!

i was wondering how long the chain on my 2000 400ex was one dealer says 86 the other says 92 does anybody know the right size i dont wanna buy a chain the wrong size thanxx

here are a few suggestions--- remove the old chain,take it to the dealer and they can match the length or jack up the rear of the quad and count your current links,start at the master link and just rotate the rear tires while counting links.

one more thing, if you order the longer chain someone (dealer/ good hardware store) can always break it to the correct length.

Rocky Mountain ATV website says 520 X 94. Of course that would be if your still running the stock sprocket sizes.

For $25 you can buy a chain breaker and NEVER have this problem again. I bought one about a month ago and it comes in very handy because not only can you remove links but it makes putting on master links a snap.
