im thinking about getting a winch(if i decide to get tires later) and my dad said that when you winch out of stuff, it can bend the frame. well, i think hes crazy but he said if somthing messes up i will have to pay for it. but will it bend the frame where it mounts at? i've never seen any thats been bent. is the superwinch t1500 OK? im not one what will use it more then 5 times a week. but is it OK? cause i cant realy afford a warn 2000. are you pleased with yalls winchs?

it wont bend the frame, it comes with a big plate that you hook it on to!!
i dont know how the 1500 works, i have a 2500, and it saves me totaly, and just pays for its self!!

Yesterday i used my winch to pull out this huge brick waying like 1000lbs. and that winch pull it out no problem, and no bend in the frame. Plus on my rancher, that winch is really well hiden, so it really dosnt take any more room than it did without it, the only thing that hangs out is the hook and a little bit of the roller!!

The winch will stall out before it bends the frame,so don't worry about that.I have a warn 2000lb & a t1500 both have been good, some say the t1500 is junk I have had mine 2 yrs with no problem. The 1500 I bought first,it has been used alot a couple of times it has lifted the quad off the ground while pulling things.Sometimes you have to tie the back of the quad to a tree to keep it from moving,so always carry a tow strap also.
