I Was at a lawnmower repair shop with one of my buddy,we walked around the side of shop & there it was....another 86TRX250R!
Third one I have ran into in 3 years.Its alitle busted up,broke front shock,bent axle ,bent handle bars,worn out dry rotted tires,no tool box ,broken radiator shrouds,bad brakes,etc.Only got a few minutes to look it over.Motor was all there,bent shifter.
When we went inside I asked about it.An older guy said it was his daughters ...but "everyone rode it".(looked like it)So I asked if she would sell it .He said he thought she would cause never rides it & just bought a new house .(works for me)
So I am going to call back after he talks to her.The wild thing is I already have 90% of the parts to get it up on all fours again.Will have to check the frame to see if its still straight,so far looks good & saw no repair/welds.Gotto look at it little harder later.
I should be able to get it real cheap like maybe $750.00 to &1,000.00 Bucks or less. Would a good project to turn into a Harescramble machine.
