Now this is prolly a stupid question but my uncle has a Blaster and he believes that his Stock Blaster would out-run my Stock 400EX. I would race him but there's no where around here to get up speed, and there's a drag strip not far from here but he wont race b/c he claims that driving on pavement will tear the motor up (which it wont). Which do yall think will out-run the other??? BE HONEST!!!

 

Well I think the Blaster will Win Off the Line but when it gets to the top speed The 400 Ex will Evently Pass the Blaster. (Alot Depends on the Rider,Tires, And So on!)

 

a 400ex tottaly will beat a blaster, but ya, it tottaly also depends on the rider, the ground, and your tires!!

 

Well from personal experience I can tell you that a 300EX and a Blaster are very close. So I'd have to say that a 400EX would spank a Blaster.

 

400ex. i've raced em. i've seen em raced. 400 wins every time.

 

Heck, you don't even need direct experience with these two quads to know the answer to this one. Anyone that know what each of these machines are, will know the 400EX will spank the Blaster. That's not to say the blaster is bad, it is just not in the same league as the 400. It's like an NFL team playing a highschool team.

 

NFL to Highschool? More like NFL to College. If it were a 90, then you could say NFL to highschool. Good comparison though.

I have a 250r now, but i had a 96 blaster with fmf pipe and silencer reeds reed spacer and filter and higher gearing, when i raced my friends 2000 400ex i beat him off the line and though about 3rd or 4th gear then he cought up and passsed me and i think you can't even compare a blaster to a 400ex

what is a blaster 200cc, what is a 400ex- oh ya 400cc. I guess the 2 stroke dont matter on this one! Than how can i 50 more cc 250r beat a 400ex??
