Can anyone direct me to a URL that'll show a picture of the DG Race-Peg nerfbars for the 400EX? I know what the AC Pro-Pegs look like, but I wanted to see the difference, and can't find a pic. Also if anyone knows who sells them cheap and it's a reliable company, please let me know.

I have these on my 400 and love them. Recently, I called DG to ask if they were available for any other bikes. They said they had "discontinued them for liability reasons". If you hurry, you might find a few distributors that still have some in stock! For a picture, find some magazines that are a year or two old (Feb. 2000 Dirt Wheels for example), and look for the DG add (which is often just inside the front cover). Good luck!!!

 

I have them too on one of the 400exs and think they are great. Gives the bike a better feel since the pegs are twice as wide, sit 1" lower and 1/2" further back (or was that 1/2" lower and 1" back). Anyhow, you have more room and more stability.

I got mine from Factory Racing. I've read about people having bad experiences with them and stopped ordering from them but I never had a problem when ordering 3 sets of skids under three different orders (2 400exs and 1 Raptor). Try your luck.

 

Thanks guys, while in my quest for the things, I got the same answer from some distributors: that they have been discontinued. They really look like they provide a nice non-slip platform for the boots, and the tilt at the end of the peg is a good idea for stopping outward slip. I called Nacs and they still had some, but I also started thinking about net replacement: if they're discontinued, that means the nets are too.
What in the world made them stop production? does anybody know? I'm just curious, since the design is a good one.

 

Before you make up your mind to not get them, you should check to see if they are a differant net than there other nerfs use.
