I am a Honda fan, but this thing is probably gonna be everywhere next year if the price is right. I'm happy to see it..... the more competition, the more diverse we as a riding group can get and the better products are developed

this might be the thing we want, suzuki making this sportsquad might push honda to make the 650ex!

 

One of the dirt bike publications lists the horspower of the XR400 as 30, and the DRZ400 as 38.4, so it has a horsepower edge over the 400. It also lists the top speed of these bikes as 81 and 80 mph. respectively (they weigh almost the same). The Suzuki looks like a 400EX knock-off with what is perhaps a better engine. If Honda starts loseing 400EX sales, this may be what it takes to get them serious about a 650EX or 450EX. Competition is good!!!!
