Can i refinish my plastic?

How could i make it shiny again? Should i get some really light wet/dry sand paper and go over it then buff it out or something?

Spray it down with ArmourAll Tire Foam, let it set for a couple hours, then wipe off the excess. This always makes mine look almost new! Jim
