well, it doesn't really matter, because I bought it anyways...

I paid $3,800 for a 2000 400EX that has been ridden so little that the battery was dead, and not evena scratch on it... not even on the A-arms

the out-the-door price around here (Delaware) is $5,999.00

think I got a good deal?

OK, here is a deal for you... If anyone you know wants a 400ex I can get them for $5505 out the door. So I think with shipping it would still be cheaper then that. So anyway the offer stands not only to you but anyone else that wants one. Figure out the shipping for yourself and if it works out cheaper let me know.

It will leave Medford, Oregon 97504 and travel to you.

Thanks

These are the 2002, if that makes any difference.

I hear you, but 2001:2002 is just stickers. I dont know many people who will pay an extra $500 to $900 just for a sticker upgrade and a seat that says Honda instead of Sportrack.

Actually there is more then graphics, now its nothing that can't be bought aftermarket but here is the list.

1. Five position spring-preload adjustablility.
2. Pro-Link fully adjustable single showa shock.

So for some people those changes might be worth it.

A buddy of mine just bought a 2001 Yellow 400ex for $3900, which was payoff. A girl we went to high school owned it and kept it at her grandmas house. It only had about 7 or 8 hours on it, and it looked like new. The reason she was getting rid of the 400EX was she missed her dirtbike and could not have both. When he brought it home we went all over it and the only thing we could find wrong with it was a mouse was living in the airbox.

Why couldn't I come up with this kind of deal first.

I bought my 400ex for 4,900 in March. My shocks are the same as the 2002 model so I don't know what you are talking about. BTW great deal you got there DSAPP.
