What is the best way to wash my rubicon radiator? I am scared to bend the fins.

The quick n nasty way is to pull off the plastic cover in front & carefully blow water through it with a garden hose.

I used a garden hose for about 6 months....had way too many overheat lights come on. Went and bought a pressure washer and it hasnt happened since. I bought one from Walmart that is 1750 PSI. I do NOT use the jet stream. I use a fan type spray and hit it straight on. I have been doing this for over a year now and havent bent any fins. It is NOT clean unless you can see light through all parts of it. Get a flashlight and hold it behind it if you have to.

I tried cleaning mine through the plastic grill in front of the radiator. Trust me, it doesn't work. To do an effective job, you have to remove the guard. I got a small pressure washer (1300 PSI) for around $100, and it works just fine using the fan spray. For cleaning on the trail, I made a sprayer that I can drop into a stream or creek. It's similar to the one Highlifter sells, but much cheaper.
