I'm not tryin to be stubborn but like I said, I really don't feel like it would be a good choice to buy a 12 year old quad. It may have a brand new Lonestar frame, a-arms, swing arm, axle, everything, but the fact is that none of that is going anywhere with out a good engine. I know that the 250R is awesome but I hate buying used. If I were to buy anything used, I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it. There may be lots of really nice Rs out there for a little less than a Cannibal but just the fact that the dale will be new and the R isn't is enough to change my mind. I know I will be totally happy with the Cannibal... honestly it was more than I was expecting. I figured if I get anything new it would be something with just enough power but I'm sure this will have more than enough

YoDaddy, I agree 100% with what everyone is telling you. I've got over $6,000 into my X. Now it's finially compettive with the R's 400EX's and Banshee's. Here's what you need to be compettive (well my mods anyway)...
1. FST 330 kit (bumps it up to 300 on the X) 11.5:1
2. Port and polish
3. Cam, I'm currently running the one that FST told me to run
4. +1mm valves
5. Heavy duity valve springs with titanium retainers
6. Hardweld rocker arms
7. Oil cooler
8. New clutch with heavy duity clutch springs
9. Powroll supertrapp exhaust with header
10. 400EX carb (comming soon)
11. 350X intake boot (comming soon)
12. UNI air filter
13. 250R A-Arms + 2 for the X/EX
14. Durablue Eliminator 2+2 axle
15. Rad dual row bearing carrier
16. 20" Otsu tires (same as on R and 400EX)
17. Black maier race cut plastic
18. Works Dual rate shocks for front
19. Works quadstar shock for rear
20. Nerf Bars
21. Kill teather
22. Lot's of patience, With added horsepower comes lots of maintainace

But when I'm at the track and I'm riding I impress a lot of people on what I can do on my X. I've beaten lots of bikes and quads in practice. I'm starting racing in the spring up here. I couldn't race this summer because of engine problems. It's 80% rider and 20% machine and the other 10% is mental. Always 110%
