CR250 ignition or stock ignition w/ lightened flywheel
#1
Has anyone tried the CR250 ignition? How does it compare to the stock 250R ignition with the flywheel lightened? My problem with the stock ignition is the super heavy flywheel. I know the CR flywheel is very small but is it lighter than the 250R flywheel after it has been lightened to the limit. If the CR ignition does not make that much difference in performance, then I would rather just have the stock flywheel lightened and still be able to run lights.
Thanks

The CR flywheel is lighter than a stock TRX flywheel. Lighter than a "lightened to the limit" TRX flywheel, probably not. But then again, a flywheel does serve a purpose. The real benefit to the CR ignition is a highly improved ignition curve, and a faster processor. The gains include better throttle response, increased power throughout the rpm range, it'll rev to the moon, and it's easier to the start! Email me for a discounted internet price on a COMPLETE CR ignition for your TRX.
