What will geve me more power. I tried to cut out the end of the snorkel tube but it ran like crap. I guesss you have to rejet.

Take off the whole snorkel and use a piece of 1.5" or 2" vacuum cleaner hose and cut it to be the same length as the stocker or make it higher to go in deeper water, that will improve air coming IN, now you should get a pipe which will help exhaust get OUT better. Then you will need to rejet. You could get an FST 300 Kit or get it ported and polished to give you more power. Getting aftermarket tires will help performance. Adjust the slack out of your throttle cable, Take off things that are not needed to lighten it up for better ACCELERATION and top speed. Get rid of those heavy as heck steel rims and get some aluminum ones. This should be a good start for you.
