Do you road ride alot ? that will ruin your bearings real fast, if thats the problem then get a dule row bearing carrier or better yet a taperd bearing carrier. If thats not the case make sure the axlenut is really tight, if it's not tight enough you will have side to side axle slop and the side load is not good for your bearings.
As for the revlimiter It sounds more like a jetting problem seeing as it gets worse in the cold. Have you added a pipe or messed with the carb or airfilter or airbox ?? If so that could be your problem. I could be wrong but thats my thoughts.

yes i do ride the road alot and do u know how much one of those duel row bearing carriers are. and for the rev limiter i havent put a pipe, but i did get a new carb because mine was sticking wide open and i took it to the local dealer and they said i needed a new one but instead of getting a new one i decided to get a used one off a older 300ex. does anyone know whut jet to put in it.

Thought so, the dule row carriers you can get one for about $170+ form LSR for the tapred it's like $220+
As for the carb if it's all stock try a 125 jet. It is REALLY bad to run it like this and it wil cause major engine trouble down the road if not delt with. If it still runs crappy try a 128 or a 120.
