hey all well it isnt my 4 wheeler that is messed up this time its my buddys 00 recon but anyway every so often it sounds like it is flooding out like u can only give it under half throttle and sometimes it quits but after about 10min it quits doing it and runs good and i figure out what it is and we done checked the gas to see if it had water in it and there was none and we didnt go through any water that day and i have anouther question when he lets off the gas it always smokes and the oil is not over filled and he just got the timing set and it still ticks could that be valve seals?!?!

it could be runnig rich. check your jetting

 

the flooding thing is probably dirt in the carb, the smoke could be piston rings, and the ticking means you need to tighted your valves
