OK, 250R needs a rebuild, I was starting to take it apart today to see what overbore it was, anyway, I can't get the head off, it is half way off, I tried putting a screwdriver between it and the cylinder but was afraid of screwing one of them up, so I stopped, so how can I get this damn thing off? Appreciate any response!

I am afraid to try it with a metal hammer, anyone else have any other idea's? If not I was thinking to just use a regular hammer but put some sort of thick cloth over the base of it where I am gonna hit it.

Try the rubber hammer, if that don't work, wrap a shirt or something up, and hit it w/the metal hammer.. very lightly.

I was gonna use this old sleeping bag that is really thick wrapped around the cylinder, and TAP it until it breaks loose. I am still waiting for any other suggestions because I don't have enough money for a new cylinder if I screw this one up. Thanks guys, later.
