Agreed Steve, One comment though in Cobs defense, I know him well and he is a very accomplished mountain rider I have some great pictures of this guy rock climbing in Colorada . We talk about hills here where I live and they might be 50ft high. His hill climbs last for miles,7000 to 8000 ft much higher and they'ed need oxygen. He could very well be the guy to talk to about the effectiveness of EBS if you can keep him calm enough to understand(He's a little high strung)As bad as he types he's not some typical dude with a Quad He is really good riding in his conditions in the mountains. But down here in the swamps would likly be another story, likwise He'd have to teach me how to ride in those rocks!!!!!

Point well taken Kevin.

Maybe the high altitude lack-of-oxygen has taken its toll?? Just Kidding!

Seriously though - I think you make a good point - Each of us is probably more adept at riding the particular "difficult" terrain in our respective areas.

I just thought I had adapted my 300 into a serious MUD Monster with the 26/25" Vamps and the power kit.... foot, I got down to the Marengo Swamp ride and felt like I was on a tri-cycle compared to some of those quads... HUGE tires, Lift Kits, etc.

Oh well - I still look forward to going back next year - Anyone that likes mud needs to go to that ride!

Y'all have a good evening

Ummmm, I didn't even mention the terrain in any relevant kind of context. So how can that be construed as a judgment.

How can I judge what I haven't seen, ridden or even know the location of?

Glenn.

Sorry Glenn , I didn't intend for that to sound as if it was directed toward you. Just trying to defend Cobs credibility as a rider.

Glenn might be pointing out a flaw in my post Kevin. I think I misunderstood his last comment.
Perhaps I can reword the intent of my message to : Noone (including me) should judge how much harder or easier another riders terrain is unless we have ridden it ourselves.
That should apply to all. Anyway - sorry if I misunderstood.

I hope all have a truely happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Happy Trails

Bog_Hog kisses cows on their lips!

And no woman as good lookin' as his wife would have married him under any conditions short of severe coercion!

How can you trust anyone who drives a truck that first says "Dodge", but then says "RAM!"?

Wow, what a large thread of spinning in circles.

What have I learned?

1. Don't judge peoples terrain without seeing it
2. Don't judge peoples riding skill without seeing it
3. A good joke about Dodge trucks
4. Arctic Cat ATV's were designed to crush fords

And to the guy who started this, I bet you are tired of getting "(name) replied to your topic (topic) in the ATV Connection forums" e-mail everytime someone else replies. hehehe.

(this doesn't really add anything worth keeping in the thread, but at I least I can say I participated)

Now you started something. Good point about Dodge Gordon. Also, Boner, Ford is the four letter "F" word, don't forget it!
