Seazed up 250R shock.
#1
A little while ago I stripped my R down to the frame, when I took it all apart i figured what a perfect time to loosen up the rear shock! So I tried to turn the preload adjustment but it was seazed up solid! I dont know how to get it loose. Can anyone shed some light on my situation? Thanks, Killer.

My shock was the same way when I bought my R. Some good penetrating oil a hammer and a large screwdriver did the trick. Spray the oil on and let it sit then put the screwdriver in a slot and HIT HARD witht he hammer. I went ahead and had mine totally rebuilt by TCS and it worlds better.
