Yo Truck-- Sorry to hear about the rib. Where did you do this? Big Rock???
You can search: Iron Pony Accessories in Cols OH and Competition Accessories, in Springfield OH. They are online, and should be able to supply you with a "flak-jacket". Moose makes a oversized one. So does Acerbis(sp?). I think Thor makes a large one, also. I bought a Moose one, it fit OK (50" chest) but it was TOO HOT to wear in the summer.....I returned it. Plan on spending $100-$150 for one.
Have a quick recovery. When are you coming to Hatfield/McCoy with RuBob and I??????

Later, Mike,

Hi Mike,I did it 1/4 mile down the street from my house. These people have 1,000 acres to ride on,it was a small ditch about 5ft deep.I had allready been through it 2 times that day.We will be going to WNF with you guys this spring,Hatfield don,t know.Keep in touch.Daryl

If you're looking for a chest protector for a "big" guy, try the Acerbis Zoom Plus, it's even bigger than the Acerbis Zoom!. I have an 48" chest, and 6' tall, but very long torso, short legs, and the Zoom plus is the only one that's long and wide enough to provide "real" coverage, including kidneys. Any others I've tried feel like I'm wearing something that has shrunk in the washer.
I broke some ribs 2 years ago wearing mine: overshot corner flat out third gear on a 250R, hit a dirt wall. Everybody thought I was Life Flight material, but I'll give some credit to the Zoom: it cracked, 3 of my ribs cracked, but that was all.
Chaparral and Iron Pony carry them, maybe Rocky Mountain, and of course: Acerbis website.
