has anyone took a stock exhaust pipe and made a homemade header pipe that was bigger in diameter. Would this help it flow.

Also tell me if you have ever done anything with a exhaust pipe that was out of the ordinary.

I made a replica of the factory muffler out of aluminum. It is a lot lighter, but it has a weird sound to it. It looks way cooler than black though. I could not tell a power difference though. I need to pull it back apart and see if one of the tubes inside are rattling against something else to get this noise. I want to keep the stock loudness, However, I was wondering if someone were to order the LRD or DG header pipe and attach the stocker to it if it would.....

My friend took his stock pipe off his warrior to a muffler shop and they made him a bigger one.
