A riding buddy of mine just got a 300ex and he was wondering how to get rid of the speed limiter when the thing is in reverse. It seems to kick in ridiculously early. Is it just cutting a certain wire or something more involved?

Just follow the wires from the switch (behind the rear brake lever) back to where you can unplug them (under the plactic, near the fuel petcock) and connect them together using a jumper wire.

Hope this helps,
