I am going to be buying a 400ex and was wondering what some of the best things I could do for it would be. I am probably going to get a White Brothers Pro-Meg system and a K&N filter. I was wondering what else I could do to get more power out of it. I don't think I will be getting a big bore kit anytime soon. I'm 14 and my parents are making me pay for it all by myself.

 

First thing that should be done... a 15$ mod, but one of the best ones available.

a 14 tooth front sprocket to replace the stock 15 tooth.

Makes a world of difference in torque and wheelie-ability.
