Hey Douglasss I would be interested to know what parts you had to order for your Rubicon Traxlock system, part #s and price and what about the wiring, did the switch fit right on the handle bars? Were the parts hard to get? Sorry for all the questions but I need some answers! LOL. I have a cottage in Dorset about 1 1/2 from Peterborough and bought my Rubicon from Markham Outdoor Power Sports! You can E- mail me if you perfer. Thanks.

The diff part # is 41400-HNO-671 and the shaft is 40400-HNO-670.And as for the switch I had to buy the housing that the thumb throttle goes in and the switch. The wiring is easy all I did is run a keyed power supply to the switch and then to the diff.I did not wire in the speed sensors,so as for protecting the diff from going into 4wd you have to be carefull. The sensors protect the front end from going into 4wd when the back wheels are spinning.

Thanks Douglasss, did you have to take the front diff apart for anything, what was approx install time for the whole installation?

I didn't have to take anything apart with the diff ,just removed the left wheel spindle, shock and C.V. shaft.Remove vent tube, remove the bolts mounting the diff and remove it and the drive shaft. You will also have to remove the the black inside part of your fender to get at all of this.

The installation took about 2.5 hrs

The Dirtyhowies kit also comes with a frame support for the area of the frame that has to be cut out. He also offers a cryogenically tempered model which makes the parts tuffer then stock.

Warn has an unlocker Called : "Warn 424 Select" for Honda models
Applications:
Honda 400, '95-'97. PN 62623
Honda 400, '98-'02. PN 63744
Honda 450. PN 63560
Honda Rancher. PN 63559
Honda Rubicon. PN 62616
Honda 300. '93-'00. PN 62624

I got a quote for 234$! from one of their Warn Red letter dealers. I found on the warn web site. its much cheaper than highlifters one for 339$ and the best part is that its a WARN part, so it has more RD into it for less money, so save a Ben Franklin or two, and get yourself a HD warn select 424!
