A friend of mine told me that if u pull in the clutch on your quad and rev the engine it will screw it up is this true?? And when cleaning your air-filter how much oil do you put on it and what kind???

Icav on your question about pulling in the clutch and revving the engine from what your friend told you about it can screw it up. well I have done this on my 400ex numerous times and mine is still rollin. I don't see what it could do really. for your air filter I would put enough on it not too much to get it soaked good enough with oil but not too much like I said. on what kind well use honda's oils that are made for your quad but others will do if you want too. its up to you. well later buddy from #1 stunning madmike

Well,thanks dude just wanted to know cuz when doing big jumps in mid-air it sounds cool as hell to rev the engine before landing.

Just reving the **** out of the motor under no load is just stupid unless it is a must EX. If you are nose diving in the air then you would rev it in gear to raise the front end. If it's not high revs then it's ok but if you pin it under no load thats just dumb.

Will it tell me in the owners manual what weight oil i should use in my quad???

Icav if you look on page 96 in your manual it shows weight recommended. if you want to know I use pro honda GN4 motor oil 10w-40. later from #1 stunning madmike

well i know for a fact that when i my boy blew his engine it was because he reived to high and poped the clutch.
