Flatslide carb on an ATV??

What is everyones opinion on using a flatslide carb on a 4-stroke atv??

I wouldnt ever need one.. the only time I use flat slide carbs is on Case reed 2 strokes with a power valve... a 4 stroke would carbrate better but it isnt needed

Ron Wood Racing is offerring a Mikuni FlatSide TM45 carb as part of their Stage One DS650 Kit. They say The stock vacuum operated 42mm carb has a butterfly restricting the venturi to give an effective size of 38-40mm, and can't be enlarged easily.

Yeah, the choke will be a problem with super high preformance 4 strokers... in that case the flat slide with 2 stroke style choke would be worth it
