I'm going to buy a new 00 400ex and wanted to know what has everyone has payed for their's. I went ot my local dealer and the quoted $6696 out the door ,I know that they can do better than that. Also let me know what state you bought it in . Thanks

I bought a Y2K 400ex out the door for $6055 in Northern California after shopping around about 15 different shops. The highest we found was 6500 for a 99 and since it was June we waited to get a 2000 and got it cheaper. The average I am seeing now is about 6200 to 6300.

 

Out the door NortEast PA at $5850.
I live in Pittsburgh Pa. Had to travel 90+ miles to get the deal.
$6200 out the door in Pittsburgh.

 

here is north new jersey the dealer have plenty so they are 5k out the doo

 

Got mine for $5499 here in Oregon

 

I got my 2000 model for $5500 out the door in southern Indiana.

 

In Nov. of 98 I bought a 400ex, they were kinda hard to get then but I paid 6000 witch included a three year extended warranty. I got it in Ontario, Oregon at Ady Honda Kawsaki
