Years back there was a atc racer named Ace Williams that was in a horrible accident that left him in a coma.Does anyone know if there was any recovery or any decline in health. He used to be in all the old 3 wheelin magazines.

Bob "Ace" Williams was injured in a race July 28, 1981. He remained hospitalized until 1983 until he was released in the care of his parents. When he was released he was still in a semi-coma state and remained in a wheelchair. Bob Williams died in January 1999.

Bet your a$$ bub!! I remember seeing Ace in 3-Wheeling riding the "Brand New for '81" ATC 250R. The guy was super fast and was on his way to a great career. I remember when I read he was injured in that race and was paralyzed. In fact, I still have the issue somewhere. He was one of the pioneers of the sport and will be missed.
