How good is the new FMF Powercore IV-2 silencer?

I've got a 2000 400 EX, and I'm considering getting a new exhaust system. I like the original Powercore IV silencers, but they are LOUD. Is the new design much quieter and does it give you really noticeable power gains? Thanks in advance.
